The
Leopard Monoliths
6 Days / 5 Nights
A surgical, high-intensity study of the cave-dwelling leopards of the Aravalli Hills. In the granite moonscape of Jawai, the relationship between man and predator is ancient and sacred. This is the best place in Asia to photograph leopards in the open on massive granite boulders.

The Day-by-Day Itinerary
The Aravalli Arrival
Arrival in Delhi and a seamless connection to the City of Lakes. We spend the afternoon scouting the outskirts of Udaipur to observe the transition from lake-basin to the rugged granite belt of the Aravallis.
The Morning Ritual
Briefing on low-light feline tracking.
The Culinary Experience
Sun-dried Rajasthani Ker Sangri.
Second Morning in the Capital
A day held open in Delhi before the drive to Rajasthan, absorbing any delay from an international arrival without shortening time in the field. Rest, or spend the morning at Humayun's Tomb. Tomorrow we drive into the granite hills of Jawai.
The Morning Ritual
A slow start - coffee on the terrace, unhurried, with nowhere to be before mid-morning.
The Culinary Experience
An easy, low-key dinner near the hotel - the last multi-cuisine city menu before the itinerary's food turns regional and lodge-based.
The Granite Sentinel
A private drive into the Jawai landscape. We arrive at the Monoliths by midday. Our first safari focuses on the high-ridges; we look for the dominant males as they begin their evening descent from the caves.
The Morning Ritual
Orientation with Rabari tribal trackers.
The Culinary Experience
Traditional "Dhungar" (smoked) meat.
The Blue Hour Vigil
Full day immersion. We utilize the "Thermal Pockets" of the granite rocks. In the pre-dawn, we position the rock-crawlers at the base of the "Mata" hills, looking for the glint of leopard eyes against the gray stone.
The Morning Ritual
Pre-dawn tea with a 360-ridge scan.
The Culinary Experience
Champagne breakfast on a granite slab.
The Rabari Connection
A final morning drive focusing on the unique coexistence of the Rabari shepherds and the leopards. We watch the morning commute of the herds as they pass within meters of known leopard dens. Afternoon return to Delhi.
The Morning Ritual
Herding-path photography session.
The Culinary Experience
Gourmet bush-brunch.
The Gateway Departure
Final de-brief at the Delhi manor. We review the "Monolith Series" of your catalog before the private chauffeur transfer to the international terminal.
The Morning Ritual
Final catalog review and gift-set.
The Culinary Experience
Signature farewell breakfast.
