A rugged Aravalli sanctuary in the shadow of the great Kumbhalgarh Fort wall -- one of the last strongholds of the Indian Wolf, hunted through scrub-thorn ridgelines few travelers ever see.
Flora & Fauna
Dry thorn-scrub and Dhok forest across steep granite ridges, with the 36km fort wall itself forming a dramatic photographic backdrop.
Photography Strategy
The "Rampart Line": use the fort wall as a leading line in wide shots. Wolves here are shy and mostly crepuscular -- a 400mm+ lens and dawn starts are non-negotiable.
